Simply enter your details and a description of the lost item and the online system will let you know if your item has been found and where to collect it from.
Lost personal ID or bank cards
Passports, driving licences and bankcards are only held for one week. After one week, passports are returned to the passport office, driving licences are sent to the DVLA and bankcards are destroyed to prevent any unlawful transactions.
What happens when my item is found?
Security Services check items to identify the owners of lost property, so it’s a good idea to write your name on commonly lost items like books, papers, diaries and memory sticks.
